About Us
At Hevy Coach, we believe that coaches deserve a powerful tool to train their clients, without a complicated, clunky, slow interface. That’s why we created a personal training platform where coaches can easily manage their clients, assign them workout programs, and track their progress.
Hevy Coach is part of the Hevy family of fitness apps, which includes Hevy, a popular workout tracker used by millions of people around the world. Our mission is to help people live healthier, more active lives by providing the tools and support they need to achieve their fitness goals.
Our Story
We’ve been building Hevy, a world-class workout tracker app, since 2019. Throughout these years we have heard a lot from personal trainers and coaches that they would like to coach their clients through a Hevy trainer software.
We did our research and realized that existing personal training platforms in the market are bloated, complicated, and simply not world class products. We also saw that client apps are clunky and have terrible user experience for clients. So we decided to build the perfect tool for coaches and personal trainers to train their clients.
Our goal is to create an amazing coaching experience for personal trainers and to provide them with the right tools for them to manage their clients in the most efficient way possible. We also want to ensure that clients receive an amazing tool for them to track their workouts, as programmed by their coaches, and so they make progress in their fitness goals.
Our Team
Carina Altamirano
Head of Operations & Finance
I’m based in Barcelona and, at Hevy, I help keep everything behind the scenes running smoothly, from operations and finance to people and legal. My role is to ensure the company can scale efficiently while supporting the incredible team building the future of fitness. Outside of work, I'm happiest near the ocean, especially in Fuerteventura.

Principal Product Designer
I'm a Brazilian Product Designer, based in Barcelona, with 15 years of experience. At Hevy, my goal is to build an amazing and delightful user experience to our users. Outside work, I love spending time with my wife and our two-year-old baby girl and our 2 dogs.

I'm from the US and live in Barcelona with my wife and three kids. Throughout my career, I've worked with brands driven by passion and purpose, and I'm proud to help more people discover Hevy and become stronger every day.

Marketing
I'm a Spanish creative who loves working out. I use Hevy for every workout, which helps me stay consistent, push harder, and track my progress. My goal is for everyone to train themselves and clients using the Hevy products and experience their benefits.

Product Manager
I’m based in Barcelona and passionate about building and growing amazing products like Hevy! My focus is on creating exceptional experiences for our millions of users. I also love hitting the gym every morning for my PPL routine.

I’m Argentinian and currently living in Spain, working in Operations at Hevy. I really enjoy helping others and being a problem-solver. I love training, and having Hevy to support my workouts makes it much easier and more enjoyable.

I'm a junior developer from Canada. I enjoy lifting weights to clear my head and push my limits. I'm excited to work on something that helps others level up their fitness journeys!
