The rest timers you assign in the workout builder activate when your client completes a set. They see the timer and are notified when rest time is over.
Custom notes you add to exercises to clarify something, remind your clients of important cues, or add helpful information is displayed below the name of the exercise for them.
Your clients can click on any exercise to track their week to week progress and previous best performances (like a 1RM or best set volume), neatly displayed on a graph.
Hevy Coach’s rich exercise library has hundreds of movements to choose from when building workout plans.
This means you can put together workouts for trainees of all levels and even find inspiration when feeling unsure of what movements to prescribe––for example, use the filters to get new ideas for exercises.
Hevy Coach streamlines the process of building and adjusting workouts. With the built-in filters and search field, you can find the right movements in less time, resulting in quicker and more efficient program building.
The ability to add custom exercises is a true game-changer. Regardless of who your clients are and how specialized your approach is, you can rest assured that every important exercise will be available to them—yes, even tibialis raises.
It may take some time to add your custom exercises, but each one will be stored in your library for future use.
Tracking performance isn’t always easy, especially when temporarily removing exercises from a client’s program and adding them back later.
Hevy Coach solves this by allowing you to inspect each client’s performance on every movement they’ve ever logged in the Hevy app.
Simply navigate to their profile, click on Exercise Statistics, find the relevant movement, and you will see their performance in the last 12 weeks, one year, or all time.
The video exercise library is a collection of 400+ exercises with step-by-step instructions and how-to animations, as well as other relevant information like what muscles get worked and what equipment the trainee needs.
The simplest way is to use the search field and type the movement’s name. You can also use the two filters to find exercises based on equipment needed and muscles worked.
To add an exercise to a movement, start creating a new workout (routine) or editing a current one. The exercise library will appear on the right of your screen, where you can find and add as many movements as necessary.
The simplest option is to navigate to the Exercise Library on the left-hand side menu and click the + Custom Exercise at the top right. A window will pop up for you to add a name, necessary equipment, target muscles, how-to instructions, video instructions, and an image for the new movement.
Any custom exercise you create will be saved to your exercise library for future use.
No, you can create as many custom exercises as you need.
Yes, simply navigate to a client’s profile, select Exercise Statistics, find the custom exercises you want to inspect, and your client’s performance will appear, so long as they’ve logged it through the Hevy app.
Once you’ve added a movement to a workout you’re building, you can adjust all the relevant details: rest period, number of sets, type of each set, target weight, reps or rep range, and RPE (optional).
Create workout plans from scratch and set a duration with drag-and-drop functionality.
